Welcome, hello and greetings to the admin applications! As most of you should know, Hoshiko has decided to no longer be part of our admin team. First and foremost the remaining admins want to thank him for everything he's done and we wish him all the best!  

Now onto future matters. I'll be honest because everyone knows, DRG isn't doing so well. Last year activity flourished and we reached peaks where we hosted two games at once due to the large amount of players we had. Nowadays we no longer fill a single game with players. It's truly a shame and we'd like for things to return to the good old days (I feel old saying that). As such, these applications are extra important. 

We are looking for a driven admin who wants to see DRG flourish. Someone who knows what they want and is willing help us with our battle to revive the community.  

Although DRG never needs an admin to host because the players are always up for it, being available when the queue is empty would be preferable.  

To sign-up, we need just a few things from you: 

1) Name 

2) Account age (& real age if comfortable sharing)

3) Games hosted 

4) What would you change if you had the power 

5) How much time are you willing to spend on being an admin (be honest, if its a single hour per month then so be it) 

6) How will you get the current admins off their ass to help you when you need it 

7) How will you keep the monodabs out of our beautiful discord 

While we only look for one admin, anyone who posts in this thread is invited to join a group that discusses DRG, and how to improve things, on a weekly basis. Little improvements add up and the same goes for the opposite direction. Applying to simply be a part of this group without admin responsibilities is possible, just ignore all the bulletpoints and post a simple "apply for group" or something like that.

4) I'd finish off adding the remainder of the keychains to the School Shop (For DR3 and DRAE), then would probably try taking the responsibility of the shop and monocoin related issues onto myself. I also think somehow enforcing a stricter policy onto afk players should be, uh, enforced.
EDIT: Actually Codeskull has a point, I even brought this up before so idk why I didn't put it here to begin with. Some places here are MESSY. The whole SHSL Applications thing - didn't we say we'd work on that 'later' and just set it as "Not Currently In Use" temporarily? We did that like, a year ago. We definitely need to clean up some of the stuff that isn't used here.
5) I'm literally always free. If something needs done, chances are I'll be there to do it.
6) Is it even possible? Uh I mean, getting the admins more invested back into the games is a good start. At present the only admin that really plays games anymore is Alu and he tends to be pretty afk. If admins start playing again, surely their desire to actually, like, administrate the website will increase too.

[li]Getting Help From Others[/li] I'm confused. Is this a meme in our "Let's revive the site admin application"? The whole point of this application is so Alucard can be even lazier, isn't it?
In seriousness, as I've been an Admin here before, I know the ins and outs of Proboards, and know how and when to deal with many issues. I shouldn't need much help, which isn't to say I'll try to lead a 1-man-army; I'll very much consult with others on things.

Memes in our actually kinda serious thing to get activity back into the site is not the time, nor place. I understand we currently have a tight-knit group, but the goal is to get more people, and especially if we accomplish it, admins need to know the proper time and place to be memes. This is not that time.

I think for a small change, a channel on the discord that could list down who's on the queue to host would help. Also, updating any threads and deleting any useless threads is something I can do. I can also help with keychains and the store once I've been taught what I need to do exactly.

5. How much time are you willing to spend as an admin
I can do a couple hours a day at least!

6. How will you get the current admins off their ass to help you when you need it?
Asking them personally in their DMs for help on whatever it is I need help with to show my dominance and to show I am really desperate for their help. I will not back down from asking at least three times a day for their help until I get answers.

8. How will you keep the monodabs out of our beautiful discord?
If someone posts a monodab in our discord, it would be best to mute the person on the discord and dm them, giving them a lengthy explanation as to why the monodab is not allowed. Follow this lecture up with a photo of myself t-posing to show I mean business. If they continue to post the monodab, the ban hammer might have to get involved.

Immediate Changes:  (I have done a list before. But will try to summarize what I hope to do.)

1. Arrival of New Members

• Try to keep a look out for new members who joined the site. From there being a welcome admin welcoming the members with a personalize welcome message and link to the Discord (if needed unless they have joined).
• This way, new members will feel welcome and avoid from them thinking this site is dead and they are more willing to speak to someone while being introduced into our Discord server

 In this section I will list out the possible change for each of the board.

2. General Board (First big one)

• Job boards: Should go cause there’s no use anymore
  
      
• Trial Host thread can be move to a thread called “How To Apply as Game Host or a new heading.
• The Investigation to mobile site can be deleted since it’s never been solved.
  
  

[li]Art Boards: It can be kept since it can showcase the talented DRG members art besides Discord.

[/li][li]Website: I think most of Lunar’s site or the promotion of Killing Game on Discord can be removed (not good for activity), some of Jay’s stuff can go and well keep some you see relevant.
[/li][li]Minigame: Most of everything can go except for Write the Message to the Person Above it’s active sometimes.
[/li][li]Competitions: Most of the created maps that never has been used needs to go. Leave the cake competition and art competition there.
[/li][li]General Boards: Take out all the old ones, keep those up to dates and are active.
[/li][li] Introduction: Keep this (make sure that the welcome admin ask new members to intro here and on Discord.)
[/li][li]Info Center: I think it need all new stuff here (can take down the Behind the Trials) and then update the How to Play, make one Game Rules (do’s and Don’ts) and School Rules (Do’s and Don’ts) the simpler the better.

[/li][li]Suggestions: Time to delete all non-relevant stuff or archive it. (Polls should be taken down since it’s over by now or games that has already put in place)
[/li][li]School Shop: I think monocoins should be switch to Game Stamps. (The admins takes down who joins the game and every 2 games they get stamps which they can redeem those fancy keychains.) I suggest opening an art position so you can update the shop quarterly.[/li][/ul]

3. Specialist Board

• SHSL Details: Why is this still here? Archived it or hide it or delete it, since we don’t use this anymore.
  
• SHSL Application: Same delete it or archived it.
  
• In this section we can just put in the “Creation of Character General Rules’ that all the Host has to have in their game application.
  

4. School Session

• Current Trials: Move this above Roleplay.
  
• Past Trial: Could be maintained so new members could see how it’s done
  
  
• Roleplay: Move this below and time to clear everything (I suggest admin put up notification to host special roleplays i.e, Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving RP’s) to just keep the momentum going.
  
• Cemetery: Time to archive this one if it’s not.
  

Suggestion

• What I think would be best is to delegate since there will be three admin (one for welcoming, one for coming up with game schedules and events) one will tidy up the site. However all three have to help each other out one way or another.
• Admins could try recruiting event coordinators to work under them to suggest activities every month. At least there could be either a Competition, RP or game every month to keep people entertained.
  
• A new updated game schedule 
  

5. How much time would I be willing to spend: Currently I am willing to spend as much time as possible to clean this site up as good as possible. However, I am not sure how much time once I get into my job but I will still dedicate as much needed during my days off.

6. How will you keep the current admins off their ass: I know that both the admins are busy, therefore, I will try to get as much information on what needs to be change for now and try it on my own. When I know that the admins aren't I will try to reason with them on why they need to be active, as in positive reinforcement and that way they know that it is also their duty to keep the site going even on bad days.

7. Monodab: I believe that members are entitled to their own opinions. It's neither a meme question nor a joke, since the monodab phenomenon has been demanded over and over again when Discordmojis were introduced. So I won't say to ban it, but be put on regulation since we already have HajimeDab. Unless those with Nitro then sure regulations should be put in place so spamming of such demanded emoji is lessen.

2) 2.5 Years on site - 18.5 Years Old

3) No official games, however I’ve hosted the roleplay ‘another’, as well as its currently hiatus bound sequel which uses many of the same features as the trial-based games such as actions, but it's not evidence based and is more yknow, roleplay focused.

4) Changes (if i had the power)

> more uses for monocoins- for example competitions, artists on the site offering services, banner shops, sprite shops, perhaps perks inside of game? more keychains. it has so much untapped potential, which needs to be honed in on!

> update/redesign site layout. appears outdated in comparison to other proboards or roleplay sights which may be drawing new users away. Perhaps more alluring art/design colour usage? Monochromatic is cool, but where’s that modern sparkle on 2019? The bang-pow allure of a new era?

> more activities for users to participate in! currently, the only thing that sparks interest is manly the main game, and so when new users join often we lose them because they have nothing to be a part of and can only watch hopelessly, get lost then simmer out before they’ve even begun. Surely you’ve all seen people who post in the introductions thread then never pop in again?

^> A few concepts following the above statement that could be implemented are things such as a mini-game version of the real game that perhaps introduces mini trials that can both help new users get used to the system and have something to do while waiting for a game while also getting used to the rules. It also gives players a chance to hone in their investigative skills in a quick, timely trial. Along with this, more danganronpa styled rp’s could be an option for those who are interested with playing characters, even an official ‘walk-in’ rp could give a chance for players to join. Perhaps in even a hopes peak setting. Of course these are just a few concepts.

5) Available for admin tasks: Outside of uni when I’m not working, or sleeping. Like, I can easily spend 5-6 hours on weekends if it’s really necessary or thurs-friday if I’m not bombed with classes. Just expect it to be late afternoon (aussie time and stuff)

6) How to get em off their butts? Charm th- maybe by suggesting ideas all admins are able to agree upon and engage with, or at least one of them, it would incite a need/want to help from them and get them even more active. If even one admin was able to feel inspired and  really into something suggested then it'll definately get them feeling a need to help, if it were both that;d be even greater! Putting enjoyment or interest into tasks that need to be done should definitely do the trick? If not I’m slightly fond of spamming and threatening people with tea, if you hadn't noticed. 

7) Monodabs have an easy way of being kicked out- we implement a more modern monokuma emote, the Monoyeet. Easy way to combat the terrible dab, and everybody can be happy!
